Hi, I’m Maria!
I’m a mom, a wife, and a maternity, newborn, and family photographer based in Erie, Pennsylvania.
I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, and together we’re raising a little boy who’s almost four—how is that even possible?! (Wasn’t he just a baby yesterday?) We also share our home with two fluffy Pomeranian girls who definitely run the house, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
I actually found photography during college, when I took a class just to stay busy while my husband was in med school. At the time, I was studying psychology and biology, and I later became a dental hygienist. But it wasn’t until I walked through my own struggles on the path to motherhood that photography became something deeper. It turned into a way to slow down, be present, and find beauty in the everyday.
Now, I feel incredibly honored to help other families do the same—to capture those fleeting, magical chapters, especially the newborn days that pass in the blink of an eye. My sessions are calm, thoughtful, and full of care. I treat every baby like they’re my own and do my best to create a space where you can relax and just be together.
I aim to create a mix of classic portraits and the more natural, emotive moments—the in-between stuff that really tells your story. The kind of images you’ll look back on and not just remember, but feel.
Outside of photography, I run on coffee, love a good cozy movie night, and never say no to a spontaneous dinner out. I’m happiest when I’m traveling, catching up with family and friends, or having deep, honest conversations. I’ve always been drawn to people’s stories—and I think that connection is a big part of what led me here.

Most Inspired By: My dad, a warm bottle of milk, play mat and open ended toys. I love playing in the water, taking a bath and my two furry sisters Floki and Lola. I am most motivated by food and anything I can chew on to soothe my gums.

Most Inspired By: I am visually inspired by a good golden hour, beautiful light, chubby feet, baby rolls, and baby smiles. I love the quote by Theodore Roosevelt "The Man in the Arena". I am also a registered dental hygienist and have a bachelors in psychology. I have two addictions, a good cup of coffee and newborn props.

When a mama says, “I trust you, Do your thing,” you know it’s about to be good. I’m usually picking apart every little detail, but this gallery? It has my whole heart. It wasn’t the usual kind of lake day—no swimsuits or sun-soaked naps—but it was beautiful in its own way. There’s something special about seeing the lake wake up for the season, teasing us with what’s to come.
While I was out, I found some really great pieces of beach glass, and it immediately made me think of a beautiful mama who shared my love for collecting them. Some clients become friends, and she’s one of them. Now, she’s off enjoying life in warmer waters, but I know she’d appreciate these little treasures just as much as I do.
Spring at the lake always feels like a fresh start—can’t wait for more days like this!
Miss Savana was the very first newborn I photographed in my new studio, and now she’s already six months old! Time is flying! I still haven’t had a grand opening yet (wild, right?), but I’ve been focusing on making progress instead of waiting for everything to be perfect. Little by little, it’s all coming together, and I’m loving the process. Miss Savana was the sweetest little angel, and I’m taking that as a good sign for what’s ahead!

Isn’t it crazy how time sneaks up on us? One minute, it feels like everything is the same, and the next, you step outside and realize just how much has changed. We finally emerged from hibernation yesterday, and the kids were running around, laughing like no time had passed. Then we saw our neighbors walking their dog, and for a moment, it felt like years had slipped by. The kids all looked taller, older—stretched out by time—and honestly, even the dogs seemed to have aged. But we adults? We’re obviously unchanged. 😜
I love watching ‘my babies’ grow up, even from a distance. And can we take a moment for this little one? Look at that hair—I was completely obsessed!
Little Miss Zuri is officially one! I swear time flies—it feels like just yesterday I was capturing her big brother’s newborn and cake smash photos, then her newborns and now her cake smash. It’s been such a joy to watch this sweet family grow and to play a small part in their story. Zuri stole the show with her dancing and singing—she’s already bursting with personality, and I just know she’s going to light up the world. Hope you had an amazing birthday (but knowing your mom I know you did).
